Encore contracts provide Information Technology (IT) solutions required by the Department of Defense (DoD), other Federal agencies, state and local governments, and United States’ Allies. Contractors provide services, hardware, software, and associated, enabling products to satisfy IT activities at all operating levels. Areas supported include Command and Control, Intelligence and Mission Support, and all elements of the Global Information Grid (GIG).

Eleven task areas provide coverage of the spectrum of IT products and services. Sixty-five expandable labor categories ensure that the customer is provided the talent needed at a low cost. Provisions in the contracts allow lower rate proposals during task order negotiations. Requirements may be stated in terms of traditional task descriptions or performance-based work statements.

TSM is a subcontractor to TranTech, who is one of nine IT industry leaders supporting Encore.

The ordering process consists of four easy steps:

1. The customer submits a requirements package to the DISA/DITCO Contracting Officer (KO) in accordance with the Task Order Guidelines;
2. KO requests cost and technical proposal from contractor(s)
3. Customer and KO evaluate proposal(s) and make best-value determination
4. KO awards the task order to the winning vendor.
