Requirement
TSM conducted a needs analysis to determine the
type of Team Building skills needed for the training department.
The analysis took into consideration the significant turnover of
personnel resulting from a large number of diverse projects within
the FEMA training department.
Solutions
As a result of the needs analysis, TSM designed
customized courseware for delivery to 22 personnel in the training
department. Attendees were taught how to effectively utilize Team
Building techniques while performing their jobs and associated tasks
related to training, courseware development, and conducting needs
analysis. The focus of the anlaysis and training was determined
by the lack of employees working as a team whith a common goal.
Peer coaching was also a focus of the training because it was determined
that some of the personnel had inner feelings about each other that
needed to be shared in an appropriated manner.
Customer Satisfaction
TSM provided follow-up mini-sessions to the group
to determine the effectiveness of their teambuilding skills.
